The Equalizer Residential Security Education Train-The-Trainer Program Includes:

Training and Certification as a “Residential Security Coach”. This four-hour course, which includes a written examination, qualifies participants to present the Equalizer Materials to different groups. A PowerPoint Presentation, Residential Security Coach Manual, and a Certificate of Completion are included with Certification. This certification is available to law enforcement, education, health, and business professionals as well as state and local government employees.

The Student Guide, "A Guide To Residential Security". This is a 34-page E-guide which shares vital information concerning property crime including: understanding burglary, burglary tactics, burglary tools, home invasion, property crime avoidance principles, perimeter security, lighting, surveillance, key security, exterior door security, window security, burglar alarms, children and residential security, a safe room, security while away, access while away, suspicious activity and objects, what to do if one is victimized by property crime and victim’s rights. Written for men, women and teenagers, this guide contains a written exam and security check-list in the back.

The Equalizer's Residential Security Survey - This printable survey was designed to help participants thoroughly evaluate the security of their homes and assist them in identifying potential security weaknesses. This survey contains over 100 questions.

The Equalizer's Recommended Minimum Security Standards - This sets the minimum acceptable standards for 15 critical elements of residential security. This includes standards for the status of the physical resistance of a property to criminal attack as well as the status of reliable criminal deterrents employed on the property to avoid criminal attack.
Residential Security Coach Certification Length: Four (4) hours Minimum class size is ten (10) people if held in North Alabama.
Residential Security Coach Re-certification Length: Two (2) hours Minimum class size is ten (10) people if held in North Alabama.
Residential Security Coach Certification is valid for two years.
